Starting young horse under saddle (breaking in)
The education your horse receives at this young age will form the solid foundation on which to build their training on for the rest of their lives, so it is very important that their initial experience in to the world of riding is as positive and correct as possible.
David is well known for producing soft, supple and willing two year olds under saddle and specialises in starting performance horses for their career in the show pen. From the moment David walks into the stall, his horses know it’s time to go to work, and they’re ready to learn. David creates an individual training program for each horse in his care which aims to develop mutual trust and understanding so your horse can perform willingly and confidently. The number of horses in work is capped to ensure David can devote the appropriate amount of attention to each individual horse. |
